Matchday has arrived. Leicester Tigers will make club history today when they run out at Perpignan's Stade Aime Giral for their 100th game in the Heineken Cup.

Supporters who made the trip to the south west of France woke this morning to clear blue skies. By kick off at 2.30pm local time the weather will be sunny and around 10C.

More than 500 Tigers fans are due to make the trip and have been arriving over the last couple of days in a city and a region that is fiercely proud of its rugby team.

A capacity crowd of over 14,000 is expected at the Stade Aime Giral, one of the most atmospheric grounds in French rugby.

Many of the city’s bars and restaurants display rugby memorabilia and there is even a public photography exhibition in one of the shopping centres featuring the Perpignan players, including former Tigers favourites Henry Tuilagi and Perry Freshwater.

The game is live on Sky Sports 1 and a Heineken Cup highlights package will be broadcast on ITV4 on Monday evening.
