Preview | East Midlands Derby – part two

Figure image

It’s this year’s East Midlands Derby – part two! Leicester Tigers make the short trip across county lines to take on Northampton Saints.

The Saints are marching in 2024 – top of the league table and into the Champions Cup Semi-Final.

Tigers are in the hunt for playoff rugby but must claim a second derby victory to keep their fate in their own hands.

Safe to say England’s most historic top-flight fixture is perfectly poised.

TEAM NEWS

Saints have gone with George Furbank at flyhalf with Courtney Lawes not seen on the team sheet. Lewis Ludlam leads the home side with number seven on his back.

Tigers have injected England U20s captain Finn Carnduff into the starting side in place of Hanro Liebenberg.
