The best-supported club in English rugby, Tigers have 13,411 season ticket holders and average crowds at the extended Welford Road stadium have topped 21,000 for the first time in 2009/10.
Now the club have been inundated with applications from supporters to top-up season tickets for 2010/11 and 2011/12.
“We enjoy remarkable strength of support from a wide area and the season ticket sales have been excellent once again this year,” said Leicester Tigers managing director David Clayton.
“We have 13,411 supporters who bought a season ticket or a half season ticket this year, which is a phenomenal number when you think the average for the Guinness Premiership is just under 6,000.
“Demand from supporters to secure their places for the whole season is soaring and the top-up figures for the next two seasons are excellent.
“We have already processed applications from 6,502 supporters who have topped-up their season ticket for next season, as well as 2,027 who have also topped-up for 2011/12.
“That is an outstanding show of loyalty and a great boost to the team and the club as a whole.
“The additional capacity with the opening of the new Caterpillar Stand this season has allowed us to make more seats available for season ticket holders and these are being snapped up by supporters earlier than ever.”
