The Leicester Tigers Academy will play their first competitive fixture in more than a year when they take on Gloucester Rugby Academy at Loughborough University on Saturday, May 1.
After the 2020/21 Premiership Rugby Under-18 League season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a revised competition was announced - including four fixtures - during the month of May.
The Tigers Under-18s have successfully defended the League title in the past two seasons, to claim the last three titles, and helped produce the likes of current senior squad members Freddie Steward, George Martin, Jack Van Poortvliet and James Whitcombe, as well as several more players to have featured in the current campaign under Steve Borthwick.
Fixtures will include a mix of Under-18 and Under-17 players from both clubs and, at this stage, remain behind-closed-doors to supporters.
