Tigers' Christmas clash is sold out

Leicester Tigers will celebrate Christmas with a capacity 24,000 crowd for the Aviva Premiership match against Sale Sharks on Monday, December 27 (2pm).

The final tickets for the fixture at Welford Road have been snapped up this week.

"Traditionally, Tigers have hosted big crowds around Christmas, going back to the Barbarians game," said managing director David Clayton.

"It is great to see that tradition continuing and we are looking forward to a cracking occasion at Welford Road.”

The new year at Welford Road kicks off with the hugely anticipated game against local rivals and Aviva Premiership leaders Northampton Saints on Saturday, January 8 (5pm).

Supporters are advised that a limited number of tickets are available for the East Midlands derby and are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.

"We couldn’t have asked for a better fixture to start the new year at home than a game against our neighbours Northampton,” added Clayton.

“And our home games in the second half of the season offer up some mouth-watering encounters, with Wasps, Saracens, Gloucester and London Irish all having to visit.”

Guarantee your place for those games against London Wasps, Saracens, Gloucester Rugby and London Irish as well as the Heineken Cup clash with Benetton Treviso and the LV= Cup tie with old friends Bath Rugby with a Tigers 6 Pack.
