Leicester Tigers supporters are arriving in Perpignan ahead of the club's 100th Heineken Cup fixture on Saturday (2.30pm local time).

Tigers will become only the third club to reach a century of appearances in European rugby’s premier club competition when they take on last season’s Top 14 runners-up at the Stade Aime Giral.

Fans have been booked onto flights into south west France and into Girona and Barcelona in Spain and in Perpignan on Friday to clear blue skies and temperatures of around 15C. The forecast for matchday is sunny with a maximum temperature of 10C.

A coach-load of fans left Welford Road at around 6.30pm on Friday evening and were due to arrive at their hotel at around 4pm local time on Saturday.

Other supporters were travelling by train and by car and visiting towns and cities en route with Paris and Montpelier popular stop-offs.

More than 500 supporters are expected to make the journey for the landmark occasion. Among the sights awaiting them was a Christmas market on the banks of Perpignan's River Tet and some eye-catching festive lights.

Stay in touch with all of the build-up, action and reaction on the club website and Twitter and Facebook pages. And check out our Perpignan photo gallery by clicking here, which we will be updating regularly.
