Watch Tigers AND England this weekend

You can enjoy a big afternoon of top-class rugby with Leicester Tigers AND the World Cup at Welford Road on Saturday.

Richard Cockerill's Tigers side will put the finishing touches to their preparations for the new season with a match against French visitors Montauban at 3pm, and the international flavour continues with big-screen live coverage of England's opening game in defence of their Rugby World Cup.

England face the United States in Lens and the 5pm kick-off will be shown live on big screens in the ABC and Tiger Bars at Welford Road, providing a full afternoon of rugby entertainment.

Montauban provide the final opposition for Tigers before the start of the Guinness Premiership campaign at Bristol on September 16 and they are expected to provide a stern test after a strong season in France's Top 14 last term.

Summer signings including Benjamin Kayser, Boris Stankovich and Mefin Davies are included in the Tigers squad, with Ayoola Erinle looking to make his first appearance for the club after overcoming injury. Cockerill is also hoping to include World Cup winners Julian White and Owen Finegan, as well as fellow internationals Andy Goode and Tom Varndell in his squad, while Sam Vesty will be keen to stake his claim on a starting spot after his impressive return from a knee injury in the win over Bayonne last weekend.

Tigers have won all four of the pre-season outings so far, scoring nine tries in each of the victories over National League One outfits Cornish Pirates, Bedford and Nottingham, while they had a Varndell try to thank for the 10-3 win in Bayonne.

Tickets for Saturday's game are available at a discounted rate to season ticket holders and members up to 5pm on Friday. Tickets are also on general sale now from the Tigers ticket office, call 08701 28 34 30 or call at Welford Road.
