Saracens won the opening fixture of the season between the two teams, earning victory by seven points at Vicarage Road, and another tight encounter is expected between clubs with play-off ambitions for the end of the season.
“We are into a very important stage of the season and a challenging one for all of us,” said Tigers head coach Marcelo Loffreda. “I am very optimistic that the players can take on the challenge and bounce back from the disappointment of losing at Worcester last weekend.”
Saracens’ England international centre Andy Farrell, who has returned to training after injury, said: "Going to Welford Road is a great challenge at any time but for us and it's also the start of a big run of games.
“Looking at the league table, I think the make-up of the top four will go down to the wire."
In response to requests from supporters of both teams, there will be no announcements of score updates from the England versus Ireland match during Saturday’s match at Welford Road.
There will, though, be live TV coverage of the deciding fixture from the RBS 6 Nations Championship between Wales and France shown in the bars around the Welford Road stadium. Kick-off in that game at the Millennium Stadium is at 5pm .
Tickets to see Tigers versus Saracens are on sale now from the Tigers ticket office. Call the Tigers ticket hotline on 08701 28 34 30, book online at www.leicestertigers.com or call in at Welford Road.
