Dusty Hare hopes the Walk4Matt charity trek to the Guinness Premiership Final will become an annual event.
Tigers legend Dusty completed the 110-mile walk from Rugby to Twickenham on Saturday, where he watched Leicester beat London Irish 10-9 to land their second Guinness Premiership title in three years.

Hare said: “I think the walk was tremendous. I thoroughly enjoyed it and there were a lot of good people doing it for good reasons. The people we have met have been fantastic.
“I can see this being done year after year. I don’t think anybody who did it this year declined to come again for next year.”
The walk was held to raise money for the Matt Hampson Trust, SpecialEffect and other designated charities chosen by each participating club. It had the backing of the 12 Guinness Premiership clubs, Premier Rugby Ltd and the Professional Rugby Players Association.
Dusty said: “People can continue to contribute and donate money.”
